This quarter’s walk took us to Grizedale and on the 3rd May 32 service users joined us on our day trip to the Lake District! After getting lost (only slightly!) we arrived and split into two groups, dependant on walking ability. Luckily, it was a warm and pleasant day; while it was a little slippery underfoot the rain held off! The less demanding walk span for approximately 2 hours taking two different routes, while the more challenging route lasted 2 1/2 hours.
After the walk there was still time left to have a wander and a shop around Hawkshead. Arguably the highlight for most of our intrepid walkers was the refreshing beer at the finish!
Huge well done and thank you to all the service users who joined us on such a brilliant day!
